under the hands of John Wallington< no role > Esq Trear , Mr Robt. Gamon< no role > , Mr. Robt. Pott< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. , Mr Saml Bates< no role >
& Henry Kynaston Southouse< no role > Esq as followsIn Pursuance of an Order of Court the
27th. July last This Comittee took into Cons. the petition of of Mr. Francis Wilson< no role > Settingforth
That he holds 5 houses at Charing Cross under a Lease from the Governors of Bethlem
Hospital to Hugh Hamersley< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Esq & Eliza.< no role > his Sister from Lady day 1730. for 31 Years at £80
P Ann rent clear of Taxes which Lease & Premes have lately been Assigned by Order of Court the
25th. of May last to the petitioner Francis WilsonThat the sd. premes are in a ruinous Condition
and will not Admitt of repairing in a proper manner to the respective Under Tenants fase
Short a timeThe petitioner therefore proposes to take a New Lease from the Expiration
of the Term in being for 31 Years at the former rent of £80 P Ann rent clear of Taxes & to
lay out £700 in repair mentioned in an Estimate to the sd. petition Annex (and Signed by
Mr Strickland Holden< no role > And this Comittee this day Viewed the sd. premes & find
that the repairs in the sd. Estimate mentioned are Necessary to be done & will account to
£700 and upwardsAnd this Comittee are of Opinion that a New Lease with Usual
Covenants be granted to the sd. Francis Wilson he doing the sd. repairs in 3 Years under the
Inspection of Mr. Holden the SurveyorAll which is Nevertheless Submitted to the
Judgment of the CourtThis Court having duly weighed and Considered the sd. Report Doth
Confirm the same, And Order that a Lease be made to the sd. Fras. Wilson Accordingly.

County of Middx Merchant SettingforthThat the Governors by Indre of Lease
dated the 4th. of December 1746 Demised to the petition Arbuthnot 5 Newbrick Messes
on the Eastside of Gravel lane in the Pish of St. John Wapping in the sd. County of Middlesex
(being part of the possions of Bridewell Hospital) To held from Lady day 1755 for
42 Years which will Expire at Lady day 1797 at £5 P Ann rent clear of Taxes &
a Fine of £50That the petitioner Arbuthnot hath Agreed to make an
Absolute Assignment to the petitioner Brown of the said premes from last Midsumer
for the Remainder of the sd. Term of 42 years which was then to come & on expired,
who is willing to Accept the sameAnd praying a Lycence to the petition Arbuthnot to
Assign the sd Lease & premes to the petitioner Brown AccordinglyThis Court having Considered
the same Doth give Lycence to the sd. petitioner Arbuthnot to Assign the sd. Lease & premes to
the sd. petition Brown for the Remainder of the sd. Term.

of St. Botolphs Bishopsgate London (being part of the possions of the sd. Hospl of Bethlem) To held
from Midsumer 1735 for 61 years at 40s. P Ann rent clear of Taxes and a Fine of £8
That the petrs. Gibbs hath Agreed to make an Absolute Assignment to the
Petr. Packer of the sd premes from Lasts Midsumer for the Remr. of the sd. Term of 61 yrs.
which was then to came & unexpiredAnd praying a Lycence to the petr. Gibbs
to Assign the sd. Lease & premes to the petr. Packer AccordinglyThis Court Doth
Order that the sd. petition be referr'd to the Comittee of this House to Consider thereof
and Report their Opinion thereon to the Court.
