deced as follows Vizt.That the sd. Samuel Handley
Agreed with the Govr. to take a Lease with Usual Covenants of a peice of
Ground or Soil in Old Bethlem
in the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bppsgate
(part of the possions of Bethlem Hospl.) for 72 years from Lady day 1752 at
£710P Ann rent clear of Taxes & to pay a Fine of 20 Guineas And to lay
out £2000 in building a Capital house with Coach house and Stables
That He did Accordingly lay out much more than the sd. Sum
in building the said House a Coach=house and Stables, But before

the sd. Lease was made he dyed having made his will (whereby among
other things) He gave the sd. House and buildings to the PetrThat the
Petr. has proved the said will in Comonform in the Prerogative Court
of CanterburyAnd Praying that the said Lease may be made to
her & her assigns for the Remr. of the Term now to come she being ready
to Seal a Counter part of the said Lease And to pay the said Fine
This Court doth Order that the sd. Lease be made to the said
Petitioner as prayed.
