Bridewell Precienct (No 5b ) now in Occupation of Mr. Edwin for 7..11.. or 21 years
from Michaelmass next at £18. P Ann rent clear of Taxes The Governors
repairing the said Houses According to an Estimate thereto Annex't Or he will pay
£12.P Ann rent clear of Taxes and repair it himself According to sd. Estimate
and will Execute a Counter of such LeaveThis Court doth Order that the sd
Proposal be referr'd to the Comittee of this House to Consider thereof And Report
their Opinion thereon to the Court.

Hackney in the county of Middlesex Brandy & wine Merchant was read as
follows ViztTo take a Lease of the House (No.5b .) at the Southside of
the Littlegate of this Hospital against Fleetditch in Bridewell Precinct now
in Occupation of Mr. Edwin for 7..14. or 21 years from Michaelmas next
at £16. P Ann rent clear of Taxes, and repair the House at his own Expence
Or at £18P Ann rent clear of Taxes for the same Term of year the Governors a putting the same
into Tenantable repair and will Execute a Counter part of such a Lease

Upon Reading the humble Petition of John Hughes< no role > Weaver Settingforth
That he Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Mr. Smith one
of the Artsmasters by Indre dated the 8th. of April 1748 And by Order of court
the 12th. of December last was made free of this City And is setup for himself
at his Own house in Popins Court Fleetstreet and wanting further Assistance
Mr Richard Manby< no role > , Mr Deputy Nash, and Mr. Samuel Seawell< no role > or any two
of them are desired to enquire whether he be set up in his said Trade and
of his hopefullness therein And Report to the Curt.
