Mr. Deputy Ellis and Mr. Thomas Fludyer< no role > for Mr. Alderman Alsop
who having taken an Account of the Several Numbers and the
Governors who had withdrawn returning into the Court Room the Terms
Reported That the Number of Governors who Staied in the
Court Room for Sr. Richard Glyn was 139 besides the two Tellers
And that the Number of Governors who withdrew into the Dining
Room for Mr. Alderman Alsop was 85 besides the two Tellars.

Whereupon The Right Honble The Lord Mayor declared Sr.
Richard Glyn< no role > duly Elected President of these Hospitals untill
the next General Election Day And the Comittee of this House
were desired to wait upon Sr. Richard Glyn & Acquaint him
therewith And he being in the Dining Room they Accordingly
didUpon which he came into Court & Returned them his
thanks for their Election of him into the said Office which he said He
Esteemed as every Great Honour And that he wou'd Diligently
Attend the Service of these Hospitals.

Alsop. Mr. Alderman sign'd
the office of Treasurer}

Mr. Alderman Alsop Acquainted this Court He cou'd not
hold the Office of Treasurer of these Hospitals any longer and
Resigned the same.

A Motion was made and Seconded That the thanks of
the Court be returned to Mr. Alderman Alsop for his Diligent and
faithfull Discharge of the Office of Treasurer of these Hospitals
which was Unanimously Agreed to and done Accordingly

At this Court the foll poor boys were Ordd. to be put out Apprentices Viz.
