Upon reading the humble petition of William Higgins< no role > of the Parish of St. John
at Wapping Setting forthThat the petitioner proposes to take a Lease of the
Governours (with such Covenants as are usually contained in Leases to their
Tenants at Wapping) of Two Messuages or Tenements Scituate and being near
Execution Dock at Wapping and late in the possession of Francis Blunt< no role >
deceased for Twenty one years to commence from Midsummer next at the Yearly
Rent of Twenty five pounds payable quarterly at the Compting House of the
Hospital of Bridewell London the Governours to pay the Land tax and to pay as
Time of £ 20 P & to put the Premes into Tenantable repair and to execute a
Counterpart of such LeaseAnd praying the Governours to grant him a Lease
according to said ProposallsIt is Ordered that the said Petition be
referred to the Comittee of this House to consider thereof & to report
their Opinion thereon to the Court.

Butcher Setting forthThat the petitioner proposes to take a Lease of the Governors
(with such Covenants as are usally contained in Leases to their Tenants as Wapping)
of Two Messuages or Tenements Situate and being near Execution Dock at
Wapping and late in the possession of Francis Blunt< no role > deceased for Twenty one years
to commence from Midsummer next at the yearly Rent of Twelve Pounds payable
quarterly at the Compting house of the Hospital of Bridewell London the Governor
paying the Land tax and the petitioner proposes to pay a Fine of £45 and to part the
Premes into Tenantable repair and to execute a Counterpart of such LeaseAnd
praying the Governours to grant him a Lease according to his said proposalls
It is Ordered that the said Petition be referred to the Comittee of this
House to consider thereof & to report their Opinion thereon to the Court.

White Cross Street SettingforthThat the petitioner proposes to take a Lease
of the Governours with usual Covenants for Seven Eleven or Fourteen Years to
commence from Michaelmas next of the Vaults or Collars under the East End
of the Old Buildings of Bethlem Hospital late Walkers and to pay the Yearly the
of £35 by quarterly payments at the Hospital of Bridewell London and to execute
a Counterpart of such LeaseAnd praying the Governours to grant him a Lease
According to his said ProposallsIt is Ordered that the said Petitioner
be referred to the Comittee of this House to consider thereof to report
their Opinion thereon to the Court.

The Right Worshipfull the President reported to this Court the Ballance of
the Accounts of these Hospitals to Christmas last which were Audited the 21st. of March
last the Ballance of Bridewell being £5776. 3. 7 and Bethlem and the Incurables
£10937..10..10.
