Apprentices

At this Court the following poor Boys were ordered to be put out Apprentices
at the Nomination of the Governors hereafter named Vizt.

Mr Deputy Child one of the Governors of these Hospitals reporting to this
Court that in pursuance of an Order of Court the 10th. of July last he
and Mr John Watts< no role > another of the Governors of these Hospitals had made
Enquiry and found that John Wilson< no role > who served his Apprenticeship in
this Hospital is set up for himself in the Trade of a Weaver and
hath the Character of a diligent and sober man It is Ordered that
the Steward of this Hospital do give and pay unto the said John Wilson< no role >
Ten pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed him in his next Account.

Charles Grove< no role > (Apprentice to Thos. Racy< no role > Tailer ) who was committed to the Hempblocks the last Court for
neglecting his master business and being very disorderly in the family
was brough up to this Court and the Portersman giving an Account
that he seemed very careless and unconcerned at his Confinement and
his master giving an Account of his misbehaviour in several particulars
It is Ordered that the said Charles Grove< no role > be sent back to the Hempblock
there to continue till the next Court.
