Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of Bethlem Hospital bearing
date the 27th of October last in the workds following Vizt.Richard
Cox
< no role > Victualler at the Castle at Great Moorgate proposed to take a Lease
from the Governors of Bethlem Hospital of the Warehouse under the
Newbuilding for Incurable Patients at the East End of Bethlem
Hospital for Seven years to commence at Christmas next at the
Yearly Rent of Twenty five pounds payable quarterly clear of
all taxes Parliamentary or others. This Comittee are of Opinion
to accept the same which nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the [..]
And it is Ordered that this Opinion be reported to the next Court
This Court having duly weighed and considered of the said Report
doth confirm the same and Order that a Lease be made to the said
Richard Cox< no role > accordingly.

Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of Bridewell Hospital
bearing date the 7th. of Decr. last under the hands of Edward Holloway< no role >
Esqr . Treasurer, Dr . Richard Rawlinson< no role > , Mr. Mark Holman< no role > , Mr William
Hide
< no role > and Mr. Allen Webb< no role > in the words and figures following Vizt.
In Pursuance of an Order of Court of the thirtyeth day of November
last This Comittee have examined into the Complaint of John
Nettlefold
< no role > Junior Constable of the parish of St Michael Crooked lane
against Robert Holmes< no role > the Hempdresser's Man and do find that
upon the 24th. day of November last the said Constable delivered
Obadiah Richards a Prisoner to the said Holmes, and that thereupon
the said Robert Holmes< no role > did follow and insult the said Constable
going cross the BridgeAnd it is Ordered this be reported to the
next Court

Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of Bridewell Hospital
bearing date the 7th. of Decr. last under the hands of Edwd. Holloway< no role > Esqr .
Treasurer. Dr. Richard Rawlinson< no role > , Mr. Allen Webb< no role > , Mr. Mark Holman< no role >
and Mr William Hide< no role > in the words and figures following Vizt.
In Pursuance of an order of Court of the thirtyeth day of November
last This Comittee have examined into the Character and behaviour
of James Vaughan< no role > one of the Artsmaster s of this Hospital and do
find that Arthur Eales< no role > a poor boy of the Parish of St. Dunstan in the
West London was by order of this Court bound Apprentice to the
said James Vaughan< no role > on or about the Eighteenth day of April last
and that he did receive from the Churchwardens of the parish
Forty shillings and from the Treasurer of the Charity School
in the said parish Three pounds more with the said Apprentice
contrary to the Rules and Orders of this House And We also find
that the said James Vaughan< no role > hath the Character of a very severe Mader
And we conceive that his ill usage of his said Apprentice was the
occasion of his running away several times since he was bound as we
find, all his apprentices Rare done since he came into the Hospital
And it is ordered that this be reported to the next Court
This Court having duly weigted and considered of the said Report
doth confirm the same and the said James Vaughan< no role > being called
in was ordered to quit his Appartment in this Hospital by
Ladyday next.
