been sold and all partys were ordered to joyn in the Conveyance thereof
and that accordingly the following Conveyances had been prepared and

the Contract exceeding £10
to be made without advertising}
Upon reading two Reports made at a Comee at Bridewell Hospital
the 13th.
day of April last as follows Vizt.We are further of Opinion That no
Contract ought to be made for Provisions or other matters for the use of the
Hospitals exceeding in ye whole Ten pounds without first publishing at least
14 days notice in the Publick Newspapers for agreeing with the person or
persons who shall offer to contract at the lowest prices and best advantage
for the benefit of the Charity

We further observe that the Workman imployed in the repairs of this
Hospital have refused (as we are informed by the Steward) to set down every
day in Writing and leave with the Porter an Account of that days work
and Materials provided to be examined and filed according to Resolution
of this Committee of the 23d. March 1735/6 Therefore we are of Opinion that
this Court orders that the said Resolution be observed or that the Workmen
disobeying the same ought not at any time to be imployed in the Service of this
HospitalThis Court having duly weighed and considered of the said Reports
doth confirm the same.
