Upon Reading the humble Petition of Thomas Branden< no role > Weaver
Setting forth that he Served his Apprenticeship to Gabriel Bestman< no role > one of the Artsmasters
of this Hospital by Indre: dated the 22d October 1717. And by an Order of this Court the
18th. of Febry: 1725/6. he was on themade free of this City & is
Sett up for himself in his said TradeNext door to the Quakers Meeting in Ewers
Street in the Park Southwark And Mr. Treasurer Reporting to this Court that
the Comittee of this House on the 16th. of Febry: last inspected the Book kept of the
Apprentices behaviour and found no Complaint against himIt is Order'd
that Lawrence Parker< no role > Esqr . Mr Wm Jackson< no role > & Richd Barney< no role > - three of the Governors
of these Hospitals or any two of them be Desired to Enquire whether the said Thomas Brandon< no role >
be Set up in his said Trade and of his hopefulness therein & to make their Report to the next Court.

Free of this City having Served this Apprenticeships in this Hospital to the Artsmasters

Upon Reading the humble Petition of Edward Howard< no role > Executor of Martha Phillips< no role >
deced Settingforth that (as Executor to the said Martha Phillips< no role > ) He is Entitled to two
Leases made by the Governors to her One No. 18. dated the 1st. of November 1711. of the Bull Alehouse
and the House Adjoining to it in Old Bethlem for 19 Years at £22 P aum [..] and the other No. 19-
dated the 28th. of Novermr. 1705 of Seven Tenements in Old. Bethlem & Bishopsgate Street
for 24. Years at £75 P Anum both which. Leases Expire at Michaelmas 1729That he
is willing to put the Premisses into good repair and to pay £100 Fine and the same rent
he does nowAnd Praying that the Governors will Grant him Two new Leases of the
said Premisses for the Term of 21 Years [..] to Comence from the Expiration of the said
Former LeasesIt is Ordered that it be Reformed to The Comittee of this
House to Consider of the said Petition and to Report their Opinion thereon to this Court.
