Ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys an but smallIt is Order'd
that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Forty Shillings a peice to be
Allow'd him in his next Account:

Upon Reading the humble Petitions of the three Beadles or Basketmen of the
Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuity's of Twenty Shillings a peice in respect of
the half Year Ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys are but small
It is Order'd that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a Peice to be Allowd him in his next Account.

in Southwark}
Mr. Treasurer Tayler Acquainted this Court that the Treasurers of the
Hospitals of St. Bartholomew, and St. Thomas, are in Freaty for the Letting a Lease
of some Houses and Ground in Southwark which was the Gift of one Mr. Hewlett
to the Hospital of Bridewell, St. Bartholomew & St. Thomas Jointly wherein the
Concurrence of the Governors of this Hospital is necessary And therefore be desired
the Directions of this Court thereinWhereupon It is Order'd that Mr
Treasurer the Desired & he is hereby Impower'd to Treat & Agree for a Lease
to be Lett of the said Premisses to such person or persons & upon such Terms &
Conditions as he & the Treasurers of the said Hospitals of St. Bartholomew &
St. Thomas shall think Proper & to Report to this Court what shall be
Done therein.
