Upon Reading the humble Petition of Sampson Shakemaple< no role > Weaver
Settingforth That he Served his Apprenticeship to William Phillips< no role > one of the Artsmaster
of this Hospital by Indr. dated the 23th: July 1711. & by an order of this Court of &
17th. November 1721 he was on the 27th of the same Months made free of this City
And is Set up for himself in his said TradeThese door beyond the Sign of Westmr.
Hall in Dunnings Alley in Bishopgate Street It is Ordered that Mr.
Dept Bridge Mr. Valentine Brewis< no role > & Mr. Thos. Pestell< no role > three of the Governors
of these Hospital or any two of them be Desired to Enquire whether the said Sampson
Shakemaple
< no role > be set up in his said Trade & of his hopefulness therein & to make
their Report to the next Court.

At this Court Thomas Hurt< no role > who Served his Apprenticeship in
this Hospital to Phillip Gill< no role > Weaver by Indre: dated the 14th: Janry 1717/8
was Order'd to be made free of this City

Upon Reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles & Porters
Man of this Hospital for their usual Gratuitys of Forty Shilling a Poor in respect
of the half Year ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys are but Small
It is Order'd that the Clerk of these Hospital do give and pay unto them Forty
Shilling a peise to be Allow'd him in his next Account.

of the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings a Peise
in respect of the half Year ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys are
but SmallIt is Order'd that this Clerk of these Hospital do give and Pay
unto then Twenty Shillings a Peise to be allow'd him in his next Account
