Nomination the Plurality of hands Appeared to be for the said Joseph Clayton
and James Lipscomb and they being again put in Nomination The Right

the said James Lipscomb Whereupon a Poll being demanded Tellers were Appointed

Reported to the Court That the Number of Governor

Lipscomb were Forty five and the Number of Governor
s for the said Joseph
Clayton were Forty Six so that the Majority being for the said Joseph Clayton
This Court doth thereupon Declare the said Joseph Clayton Elected
and doth Order That the said Joseph Clayton upon his giving good
Security to be Approved of by the Comittee of this House be Admitted Junr.
Beadle of this Hospital until the next Election day And that he shall have
the Sallary and Profits thereto belonging and such Appartment in this
Hospital as the Comittee of this House shall Appoint.
