Mr. Thomas Nicollous< no role > of ye Governor s of these Hospitals Reporting
to this Court that in persuance of an Order of Court of the 17th
day of Novermr Last Mr. Deputy Turner and he had made Inquiry
and do find that John Hills< no role > and John Fenton< no role > who served
their apprenticeship in the hospital are sett up for themselves
in their respective Trades and have the Character of diligent
Sober men It is Ordered that the Steward of this hospital
do give and pay unto the said John hills and John Fenton
Ten pounds a peice out of Mr Lock's Gift

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Edmund Cook< no role > setting for the
that he served his apprenticeship to John Brown< no role > weaver daced late
one of the Artsmasters of this hospital by Indenture dated the 24th
day of April 1703 and by an Order of this Court of the 7th day
of October 1714 he was on the 24th of the same Month made
free of this City and is Set up for himself in his said Trade in
White Lyon Court in Charter House Lane near the Porters
Clock in the parish of St Sepulchre without and Mr. Trear
Reporting to this Court that tha Comee of this house on the 19th
day of this Instant Decemr. inspected the Book kept of the
apprentices behaviour and found us Complaints agt. himIt is
Ordered That Mr. Thomas Nicholl< no role > . Mr. Richard Truley< no role > and Mr.
Thomas Aynscomb< no role > these of the Governor s of these hospitals
or any two of them be desired to enquire whether the said Edmund
Cook
< no role > be Sett up in his said Trade and of his hopefullness therein &
to next them Report to the Court

City haveing served his apprenticeship in this hospital part
to Wm. Greave< no role > and part to Nathail Whittmore< no role > by Indre
dated the 27th day of June 1711 .
