and to their Successors for the use benefitt & behooffe of the poor people
of the sd hospital forever Item I give and divise the Interest
benefitt and Annual proceed of Five hundred pounds other part
of my Said Six thousand pounds Stock unto the Governours of St
Thomas hospital in Southwark for the time being and to their
Successors for the use benefitt and behooffe of the poor of the said
hospital forever Item I give and devise the Interest benefitt &
Annual proceed of One thousand pounds Stock other part of my
Said Six thousand pounds which I have in the Said Chamber of
London unto William Gatharn< no role > Junr. for and during the Terme of
his natural life and from and after his decease Then I give the
Interest benefitt and Annual proceed of the said Last menconed
One thousand pounds Street unto & amongst all and every the Child
and Children of the sd Wm Gatharn< no role > by Sarah< no role > his Late wife
that Shall beliveing at the time of his death to be equally divided
amongst them Share and Share alibeItem I give & devise
the Interest benefitt and Annual proceed of Two thousand
pounds Stock being the Remainder of my Said Six thousand
pounds Stock unto ye Governours of the hospital of Bethlem
for the time being and to their Successors forever for the use of
the poor Lunaticks and others taken unto ye said hospital for
Cure Provided nevertheless That in Case my Said Stick in
the Chamber of London by reason of any defect of tille or
otherwise Shall fall Short or not amount to be Six thousand
pounds That then and in Suits Case my will is that there shall
be a Rate alle and proportionable abatemt. out of the Last
menconed four thousand pounds Stock by me given as
aforesaid And the first menconed Two thousand pounds
stock devised unto my wife and Daughter and to others after
them to be preserved and kept intire without any abatement
Whereupon It is Ordered That it be Referred to [..] a Comee
to Consider of the Case upon the said Will and to Report to this
Court then Opinion what is proper to be done therein And it is
further Ordered that ye Comee for this purpose be the Comee of this
house and the Gentlemen of the Long Robe who are Governor s. of
