23d Novr. 1716

Testater and Sole Execution of his said Will was at a Loss have
to Art and therefore had desired that the matter Might be laid
before the Court for their Consideration and Mr Treasurer
haveing a Copy of the said Will the Severally Clauses relating
to the Said bequest were read at followeth viztItem
Whereas I am possessed of and interested in the Same of Six
thousand pounds Stock comonly called Orphans Stock in the
Chamber of London I give devise and dispose thereof in manner
following that is to Say I give and devise the Interest benefitt
annual proceed of Two thousand pounds part of the said Stock
into my dear and Loveing wife for the Terme of her natural life the
Same to be paid unto her and her Receipt alone to be a Sufficient
discharge for the same from time to time notwithstanding her [..]
and as well during her Coverture as being Sole and to as that not any
husband She may hereafter fortune to marry may intermeddle
therewith or have any disposeing power thereof and from and after
the decease of my said wife I give and divise the Interest benefitt
and Annual proceed of the said Two thousand pounds unto my said
Daughter Ann Tayler< no role > during her natural life the same to be paid
unto her and her Receipt alone to be a Sufficient discharge for the
Same from time to time notwithstanding her Coverture and as well
during her Coverture as being Sole And so as no husband She
Shall happen to marry may intermeddle therewith or have any
disposeing power thereof or of any part thereof And from and after the
death of my said wife and Daughter Then I give the Interest benefitt
and Annual proceed of the said Two thousand pounds Stock unto
the Governours of Christ Church hospital London for the time being &
their Successors for the usebenefitt & beh [..] of the poor Children
of the said hospital forever Item I give the Interest benefitt and
Annual proceed of five hundred pounds other part of my said
Six thousand pounds Stock in the Chamber of London unto the
Governours of St Bartholomews hospital London for the time being
