The humble Petition of William Phillips< no role > Junr. Broad Weaver
was read Setting forth that he had Served his apprenticeship
to his father who has been an artsmar . of their hospital for many
years and has brought up a great many boyer which were putt
Apprentices to him by Order of this Court and generally kept ten
apprentices And praying to be admitted an artsmar . in the place &
appartment of her said father (who resignd at their Court) he being
ready to Comply with all the Orders of their hospital relateing to
Artsmasters and to keep or many boyer as the Court Shall thick
fitt Then the question being putt the said William Phillips< no role > Junr.
war elected in the room of his Said father And It is
Ordered that the said William Phillips< no role > Junr. be admitted an
Artsmaster of this hospital upon giveing Security as usual &
that he have her said fathers Appartment and all his
Apprentices turned over to him.

Ordered that ye Comee of this house be desired to view the
Artsmasters Appartmts. in their hospital and to Report to this
Court how many apprentices each appartmts. will conveniently
entertaine and what Inmates they find in their hospital and in whose
appartmts. with their Opinion what is proper to be done therein

Upon reading the humble Petition of Peter Pickering< no role >
Porter Setting forth That he has been Porter of this hosptll.
for four years last past and reced but one halfe of the Salary
dureing the life of Mr. Empson That he has been ordered more
business than formerly That the profitts of the place do
not amount to one third of what it hath done in her
predecessors time And praying such further encouragmt.
as this Court Shall think fittIt is Ordered
that the said Petition be Referred to the Consideration
of the Comee of this house who are desired to Report
to their Court what they think proper to be donetherein
