Upon reading the humble Petition of Elizabeth Bayly< no role >
wife of Thomas Bayly< no role > Steward of the sd. Hospital of Bridewell
Setting forth That the Stewards Salary is small and
his perquisites Scarce any so that he has not thereby been
able to provide necessary for his family but the petitioner
has been forced to sell such Lands as were settled for her
maintenance and besides has Contracted Debts for the Support of
her family which she is unable pay wth out the sabour and assistance
of the Court and praying such Gratuity as the Court shall think
fitt It is Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this
house to consider of the said petition and to report to this Court
what they think proper to be done there in
