Beadles Gratuitys for
½ year to Mel sr. 1713.}


Upon the Humble Petition of the four Beadles and Porters
Man of this Hospital for their usual graguities of forty Shillings
a peace in respect of the halfe year ending a t Midsumer last for that
their Salaries are but small It is Order'd by this Court that the
Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay into them forty Shillings a peice
to be allowed him in his next account

of the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuities of Twenty
Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe year ending att Midsumr. last
for that their Salaries are but Small It is Ordered by this Court
that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next account

apprenticeships Shall
first expire after her death.}

At this Court Mr. Richard Bromley< no role > one of the Executors of the last
Will and Testamt. of Mr. Mary Hayes< no role > deced brought a Copy of a Clane
in the said Will dated the Thirtieth day of Novemr. 1710 . which was read
and is in these words following vizt.I give Ten pounds a peice to
"Twelve poor young men that were putt out Apprentices by the Hospital
"of Bridewell whose apprenticeshipps Shall first happen to expire
"next after my decease provided my Execators be satisfied they are
"houest and behave themselves well and that they Stand in need of the
"Same to help to sett them up Otherwise I will and desire my
"Executors to keep the said moneys in their hands untill some other
"young men putt out by the sd. Hospital have served their times who
"may better deserve my bindness and then to pay it to such And the
5d Mr. Bromley acquainted this Court that the said Mr. Hayes dyed on ye
Seaventeenth day of June last and thathe had proved the said
Will together wth. Mr. George Sendall the other Executor therein named

At this Court the following poor boyes were Ordered to be
putt Apprentices at the nomination of the Governor s. hereafter
named vizt.
