Upon reading to this Court a Report from the Comee of this
house dat the 21st. day of this Instant July Setting forth That in
pursuance of an Order made at a Court holden at this Hospital the 19th
day of June last they haveing considered of the several Gentlemen following
who were nominated to be Governors. It is the Opinion of the sd Comee
that the pare very proper persons to be Governor

the Court Shall think fitt Vizt.

vizt.Gentleman -The Queen being informed that you
refuse to receive Criminals into your Hospital under your direccon
I am to desire you will lett me know what reasons have induced
you to after a Custom so long established that I may lay the same
before her Majty It is Order'd That it be referred to the Comee of
this house to draw up an answer to his Lordships Letter wherein
they are desired to State the Case of this Hospital in relation to the
Convict prisoners who have been Sent hither in pursuance of an Act
made in the 5th. year of her Majtys raign and to report the same to
