Continued 19 June 1713

Who were agen putt in Nominacon and then the plurality of
hands were for the said Constable Wheeler & Thomas Weston< no role > who
being agen putt in Nomination for one of them to be Elected
thereunto The Right Worshippfull Sr Wm. Withers< no role > Knt &
Alderman Presid . of these Hospitals was pleased to Declare that
in his Opinion the Election was fallen upon the said Thomas
Weston
< no role > by a great Majority Whereupon It is Ordered
That the said Thomas Weston< no role > be admitted Steward of the
said Hospital of Bethlem untill the next Election day
and that he shall from Midsumer day next have receive
and enjoy the Sallary and profitts thereto belonging as the
said Mr Thomas Yates< no role > had and enjoyed the same and
also the Roomes and Chambers wherein the said Mr Yates
lived the said Thomas Weston< no role > giveing Security as usual

Then the severall humble Petitions of William
Brandling
< no role > and Benjamin Brockden< no role > for the porters place of
the said Hospital of Bethlem were read and Jeremiah Lister< no role > This name instance is in set 2115.
and Edward Godwin< no role > haveing by [..] their petitions prayed either the
Stewards or porters place they and the said Brandling & Brockden
were all put in Nomination and the plurality of hands appearing
to be for the said William Brandling, and Benjamin Brockden< no role >
and they being put in Nomination for one of them to be Elected
thereunto The Right Worshippfull [..] Withers Knt. & Alderman
Presidt of these Hospitals was pleased to Declare that in his
Opinion the Election was fallen upon Benjamin Brockden
by a great Majority Whereupon It is Ordered
That the said Benjamin Brockden< no role > be admitted Porter of
the said Hospital of Bethlem untill the next Election day
And that he shall from Midsummer day next have receive &
enjoy the Sallary and profitts thereto belonging as the said
Humphry Pooler< no role > had and enjoyed the same And also the
roomes and Chambers wherein the said Humphry Pooler< no role >
lived the said Benjamin Brockden< no role > giveing security as usuall
