Abraham Goodwin< no role > Wm Ceney< no role > Benja Drury< no role > Capt William
Knight
< no role > and Geo: Osmond< no role > Plumbers for one of them to be
Plumbers of the Hospll of Bridewell in the room of Thomas
Browne
< no role > the late Plumber to the said Hospitall deced and
they being all of them putt in Nominacon for the said place &
reduced to two as those who had the Majority of hands vizt
Abraham Goodwin< no role > and Capt Knight and they being again
putt in nominacon for one of them to be Plumber of the sd.
Hospitall It appeared plainly by plurallity of hands that
the said Abraham Goodwin< no role > is duely Elected thereunto
Whereupon It is Ordered by this Court That the said Abraham
Goodwin
< no role > be admitted to do the Plumbers work in the said Honl
he doing the same as well and as cheap as any other dureing ye
pleasure of this Court.

Also Upon Reading to this Court the Report of a Comittee
under the hands of Mr Trear Gardiner Sr Gabriell Roberts< no role > .
Mr Francis Smith< no role > Mr Gilbert East< no role > Mr Samuell Warburton< no role >
Mr Edward Norman< no role > and Mr Richard Cheshire< no role > Which Report
followeth in these words Vizt.

Mr Dancers Report
about a new Lease
confirmed


This Comittee being Mett pursuant to an Order of the 30th day.
of Aprill 1703 whereby It was referred to them to view the
prmisses Late lett to Robert Ivory< no role > in Old Bethlem from Xmas
1663 for the terme of Forty One years wch will Expire at Xmas
1704: And haveing viewed the same accordingly Do Find the same
much decayed and worne out by length of time and haveing heard
the proposalls of Mr Wm Dancer< no role > the prsent Tenant thereof
that he will take a lease of the prmisses for One and thirty years
at five and thirty pounds P Annu to Comence from Xmas 1704:
And will lay out £300 in the new building and repairs within two
years from the date hereof This Comittee haveing deliberately
weighed and considered the said proposall and haveing advised
with their workmen therein Are of Opinion That a New Lease
of the prmisses be accordingly Lett to the said Mr Dancer for
thirty One years at the rent of five and thirty pounds P
annu with a Covenant to Lay out £300 in repairs and new
building as above and a further Covenant to Surrender his
lease to the Hospitall In case they shall think fitt to take
the same into their own hands Upon paying to the said Wm:
Dancer
< no role > so much money as shall be agreed upon betweene
arbitrators for that purpose to be appointed and other usuall
Covenants as are contained in his former lease.

This Court haveing duely weighed and considered the matter
of the said Report do Confirme the same and Order that a
new lease be made accordingly.

Nominated a Governor of these Hospitalls P Mr Justice
Whistler.
