a Clause added to
Bethlem Bonds:

Also the Generall Comittee. of the Hospll of Bethlem haveing
proposed a Clause to be added to such bonds as are taken for ye
keeping of distracted persons in the Hospll of Bethlem Which
Clause is in these words Vizt.

And Further If upon Notice to them the said A: and B:
or either of them given by the Steward of the said Hospll for the
time being That the said: & : (the Lunatick) is Ordered to be
removed and discharged out of the sd Hospll And the sd & be
not Imediately removed taken away and discharged the sd Hospll:
pursuant to such notice That then and in such case They the sd
A: and B: shall pay or cause to be paid to the sd Trear of the sd
Hospll: the sume of 10s of like money on the Saturday in every
week as above over and besides the sd 2s:6d P week for the
so long time as the sd &: shall Remaine in the sd Hospll
after such notice as aforesd: This Court upon hearing the
same read Doth Order that the sd Clause be Inserted in the
Bethlem Bonds for the future And that the Clerk of these Hosplls.
do take Security accordingly:
