And this Comittee being also Informed That the Sd. Elsley is willing to
Quitt the said Hospll: but hath nothing in the world to defray the
charge of his Removeing or to putt himselfe into a way whereby to
maintaine himselfe and wife.

This Comitte are of opinion That in order to Remove the sd.
Elsley out of this Hospll: Mr Trear do give and pay unto him five
pounds to be allowed Mr Trear in his next account And that the
said Chappell Wardens and Steward of this Hospll do take care
that the sd George Langbridge< no role > be forthwith Removed out of the sd
House And that a small house in the said Prcinct be taken for the
said Elsley and his son in Law Langbridge to live in together

Also This Comittee being attended by Martha Burges< no role > Maid
-servant to the Steward of this Hospll: who had an accidentall blow
wth a pale given her by the side of her head by John Broome< no role > one of
the Apprentices of this Hospll: by wch she had suffered very much-
And prayed That the charge of the Dor Surgeon and Apothecary
be borne by this Hospll: And this Comittee upon examinacon of
the matter are satisfied of the truth of the Fact That the same
blow was accidentall and that the said Martha Burgess< no role > had suffered
very much thereby are of opinion that the sd charge be borne by this
Hospll and that she have 20s given her by Mr Trear to be allowed
him in his next Accompt.

This Court haveing duely weighted and considered of the
severall matters aforesd Do Confirme the said Report And order
that the same be done and observed accordingly.

Also Upon the humble Peticon of the Welch James who was
brought up an Apprentice wth Wm Burton< no role > Hempdresser late and
of the Artsmasters of Bridewell Hospll and since made a Freeman
of this City by the approbacon of this Court And is sett up for her
-selfe in his trade of a Hempdresser at Mr Peter Powells< no role > house in
the Kings head at Limehouse corner as he alleadgeth for some p [..]
of Mr Locks guift the better to enable him to carry on his sd trade
It is Ordered by this Court That Mr Forbes Mr Drake Mr.
Parkes and Mr Somers four of the Governors of these Hosplls or
any two of them be desired to make enquiry of the sd James Welch< no role >
whether he be so sett up for himselfe in his said trade And of his
hopefullness therein And to amke Report thereof to this Court

Also Upon Reading to this Court the Report of Mr Gilbert
East
< no role > and Mr Francis Smith< no role > That on Enquiry they do Find That
Elias Wardell< no role > is sett up for himselfe in his trade of a Weaver att the
house of Robt Barnett< no role > next door to the Angell and Crowne in hand [..]
wthout Bishopsgate And hath the Report of an honest man and a gi [..]
husband It is Ordered by this Court That Mr Trear do give and p [..]
unto him ten pounds of the profits of Mr Locks Guift to be allowed
Mr Trear in his next accompt
