Comtee of Bethlem for
settleing Wardrobe

Also A Motion being made to this Court by Mr. Trear & Mr.
Depty. Fazakerley That it was the humble request of the Clerk
of these Hospll. That the Fees belonging to his place might be
adjusted and settled as to this Court shall Secure meet It is
Ordered by this Court That it be referred to the Comittee
who by the Order of the last Court were appointed for the
Settling the wardrobe of Bethlem to considr. & settle the Fees
And that it be an Instruccon to the sd. Committee That they
doe Considr. of an Augmentation to be made to the sd
Clerk as well in regard of the loss of Petitions & new
bonds on abatemt: to patients in Bethlem (perquisitts.
belonging to his predecessors) Such petitions and bonds
by an Order of the 11th: of Aprill last (Upon Settling all
Lunaticks at 2s:6d: P week) being discharged as alsoe
respect that by the severall Fires wch. have happened to
Wappin the Leaser of these Hospll. being lately renewed
he hath not made above 4 leaser since he came to his
place And the sd. Comittee are to report their opinion
concerning the same to this Court

Order for purchaseing
houses in old Bethlem
discharged.

Also the Order made the last Court relating to the
purchase of three Houses in Bysppsgate Street London
and a Debate arrising thereupon & Sr . Gabrll. Roberts< no role > the
Audr. Generall of these Hospll. accquainting this Court
That there are severall long Leaser in being to severall.
Tennants in Old Bethlem that will not expire for [..]
yeares to some And that in his opinion the pr. misses
to be purchased were much too deare and would not
answr. the intended End and gave severall reasons
for yt. purpose And it being now in his power to
discharge Mr. Trear from the same And Mr. Trear
concurring wth. the sd. Sr. Gabrll. Robert requested the
Court That the sd. intended purchase might be avoided
the being Indemnifyed therefrom by this Court That
the sd. Order for the purchaseing the sd. Houses and other
Houses therein menconed be discharged And that
Mr. Trear be Indemnifyed by this Cort from all Damage
yt. shall happen by reason or Colour thereof.
