Also Upon Reading a Report of the Comittee of Bridewell
Hospll. To whome the Petition of Severall Inhabitants of Bridewell
Precinct For the sd. Hospll. contribution to a Lamp on the Easts
Side of the Same Hospll. neare Fleet ditch was referred That the
sd. Comittee haveing viewed the place & Judging the hospll. dead
wall to be about the Distance or Space of Five Houses are of Opinion
That the hospll. allowe Thirtye Shillings a yeare towards such Lamp
in case the Same be putt up. The said Report is now confirmed by
this Court

Also upon the humble Petition of Robert Buttler< no role > citizen &
pinnmaker of London who was brought up apprentice wth. Within
Elsley
< no role > pinnmaker (one of the Artsmars . of Bridewell hospll) and
since made a Freeman of this Citty by the Approbacon of this Court
and who hath taken and house and is Sett up for himselfe in the
Trade of a Pinnmaker (as he alleadgeth) [..] over against
the Rot Buck Alehouse in Kent Street neare St. George's Church
in South warke For some part of Mr. Locks gift the better to Enable
him to follow & carry on his Sd. Trade Itt is Ordered by this Court
That Mr. Jno. West< no role > Mr. Wing & Mr. Bell (Three of the Governors
of these Hosplls.) or any two of them be desired to make Enquiry of
the sd. Robert Buttler< no role > whether he be set sett up in his said Trade
& of his Hopefullnesse therein & to make Report thereof to the
next Court.

Also Upon Reading to this Court the Report of Andrew Willow< no role >
Esqr . Mr. Francis Smith< no role > & Mr. East ( Three of the Governrs . of these
Hosplls.) That upon Enquiry they doe find That Willm Mills< no role > who
was Brought up apprentice wth. Richd. Sworby< no role > Glover one of the
Artsmars. of the Hospll. of Bridewell shire made a Freeman of
this Citty by the approbacon of this Court hath taken part of a
house in Moore fields and in Sett up for himselfe in the Trade of
a Glover and hath the character of a Sober man & a good husband
Itt is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Trear doe Give and pay unto
him Tenn pounds of the profitts of Mr. Locks Gift the better to
Enable him to carry on & mannage his sd. Trade To be allowed
Mr. Trear in his next Accot.

London was Admitted & Governor of these hosplls.
