Also Upon reading to this Court the Report of Mr. John
Thompson
< no role > Mr. Jno. Owting< no role > and Mr. Richard Marsh< no role > (thereof
the Governrs. of theses hosplls.) who were desired to view the house
at the horseferry att Westmr. late Mr. Good childs and which
for ye. residue of a terme of yeares belonged to the Estate of Mr. Jno. Land< no role >
lately deced and consequently to the hospll. of Bridewell by
vertue of his residuary Device That Itt is the Opinion of the
said Comittee for the reasons in the sd. Report contained Th [..]
Itt is by noe meanes fitt for the sd. hospll. to Meddle wth. the
houses This Court is Satisfyed in the prmisses and doth confirm
the sd. Report

Also Upon the humble Peticon of John Hays< no role > for some mitigacon
of the weekly paymt. of Five Shillings for the keeping of his
wife Mary Hays< no role > a poor Lunatick in the hospll. Bethlem
where She hath been maintained by the Petr. above the space
of Six months The Peticonr. haveing nothing for the maintenance
of himselfe his wife and a young child at nurse but what he
getts by his hard Labor in a Sugar Bakehouse And being in
a lowe condicon and not able any longer to bear the sd.
charge This Court being Satisfyed of the trueth of ye: matter
of the sd. peticon Doth Order That Security being given to pay
two Shillings a week for the keeping the sd. poor Lunatick for
the future That then the Same shall be reced and the Bow
for paymt. of Five shillings a week be delivered up to be
Cancelled.

Also Upon the severall humble Peticons of Robert Bowes< no role >
Stephen Cross< no role > and John Barr< no role > For one of them to be Elected
at Artsmaster in the Roome of [..] Child lately removed
out of the sd. hospll. And they being severally putt into
nominacon It plainly appeared by plurality of hands That
the sd Robert Bowes< no role > is duely Elected thereunto Whereupon
Itt is Ordered by this Court That the sd. Robt. Bowes< no role > bt Admitted
all Artsmar . in the house heretofore in the holding of Benjamin
Clare
< no role > during the pleasure of this Court on Such Security &
under such Covenants as are Usuall in like cases.

Also Upon the humble Peticon of within Mills< no role > Citizen &
Glover of London who was brought up an Apprentice wth.
Richd. Scoyby< no role > Glover one of the Artsmasters of the hospll. of Bridewell
and heretofore made a Freeman of this Citty by the
Approbacon of this Court That about the Third of June 1685
