Also upon the humble Petition of the Chappellwardens
and Inhabitants of Bridewell Pretimit on behalfe of
John Baker< no role > lately Sent by Warrt. under the hands
of Two Justites of Peace to be provided for and kept
by the said Precinit And that he is in away Deplorable
Condition by means of a weakness wch. hath taken away
the use of his Himbs and is a fitt object for a publick
Charity This Court Doth Recommend the said John Baker< no role >
to the Worspll. the Govern . of St. Thomas Hosptl. in Southwark
to be Admitted a Patient in the said Hospll. in Order
towards his Anne

Beadles of Brides
a well 20s. Gratuity
& 20 a piece in Consid
of ye dearness of Provisions


Also upon the humble Peticon of the four Beadles
and Porters man of the Hospitl. of Bridewell for their
unsuall gratuityes of Twenty Shillings a piece in
respect of the halfe yeare ending at Lady day last
And represeting to this Court their Condicon having
families to Maintaine and that all manner of Provisions
have been & doe continue very that dear This Court doe
thinke fitt and Seo Order That Mr. Trear doe give &
Pay Unto them 20d. a piece for their usuall gratuities
to Lady day last And also 20d a piece more considing
the Present dearness of Provision as a Free Gratuity
of this Court To be allowed Mr. Tier in his next acct.

Beadles of Bethlen
their Gratuitys}


Also upon the humble Peticon of the Beadles or
Baskettmen of Bethlem Hospitl. for their usuall
Gratuityes given unto them of 20d a piece for the
half year ending at Lady day last It is Ordered
That Mr. Trear Baker Doe pay unto each of them
20s. to be allowed Mr. Trear in his next Acct.

Mr. John Drigme< no role > & Mr. John Sharpe< no role > & (three of the
Governr . of there hospitls.) That upon Inquiry they
doe find That John Meecham< no role > [..] Weaver (who
was brought up Appr . with Benjamin Harrison< no role >
weaver (one of the Artsma of this hospitl.) and since
made a Freeman of this Cotty by the Approbacon
of this Court) is Sett up for himself in his Said Trade
That he is a Carefull man and that the Loom he
works in and silke he therein is his own and that
they believe him worthy the Savour of this Court It
is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Trear Baker doe
give and pay unto him Tenne pounds but that the Same
be not paid till after the Holy doup to be allowed Mr.
Trear in his next Account.
