Also Upon the humble Application of divers Poor Servants &
Labourers who had Served the widow Gurney (late the Hosplls
Tenant in Kent) that there is due to them for ye Same Severall
Sumes of money amounting in
[..] ye whole to Five and Twenty pounds three
Shillings & three peace And That all the Stock and goods of the Sd
widow Gurney being made over for ye use of the sd Hospll She is
not able to Pay them, And Therefore humbly Desiring this Court
to take their Condicon, into consideracon and they being poor Laborers
who hand nothing but what they work hard for This Court upon
debate thereof are of Opinion That they are not obliged to
pay the debts of mrs Gurney, as they conceive these to be
and not to affect this Court in Law. But considering that those
persons were Employed in getting in the Harvest & Stock of ye Sd
Farme and compassionating their Condicon This Court Doth
thinke fitt in Charity to Give and allow unto Each of them Two all
Third parts of what was Soe due unto them respectively from
the Said widow Gurney as aforesd And Doe Order the Same
accordingly And Will Consider how the Same Shall be given to them
