Laid down and proposed for and concerning the Saml and Doe
Order That the Substance of the Same Report be made an
Order of this Court And Thereupon It is Ordered by this
Court. That Mr Mount (the Clerk of this Hospitall) Doe
forthwith prepare and gett Sealed and Executed by such of the
Governors as are now liveing (in whose names the said Lands
were purchased) a Sufficient Letter or Power of Attorney
to Mr Benjamin Godfrey< no role > , the said Clark and Mr. Jacob
Janeway
< no role > of Canterbury Joyntly and Severally for their
taking all lawfull ways and remedies for the Recoverye of
the Rent in arreare for the said Londs and also of what
is due [..] from Mrs Gurney & her
Securitye on three Severall Bonds in that behalfe. And That
in pursuance there of the said Clerk Doe make out process
on the said Bonds. And That the said Clerk (being arm'd
with such powers and Authorities doe with all convenient speed
repaire to the said Lands and by and with the Orders advice
and assistance of the said Mr Godfrey and Mr Janeway put the
same in Executed in the most effectuall manner that may be
for the Recovery or Securing the said Debt due as aforesd
And [..] (considering the great pains the said Mr Janeway
hath been at from time to time in journeys and otherwise
for the service of the said Hospitall and his readiness care
and diligence therein And That he hath never had any
Reward or Gratuity from this Court) That Mr Trear Doe
Order Tenn Guineys to be paid and delivered to him for
his said service And That Mr Mount doe accquaint him
That This Court have been pleased to Order him Tenn
Guineys more in respect of his Services domo and at this
Juncture to be performed in and about the prmisses And
That the said Clerk Doe Informe himselfe concerning the
Roylatie belonging to ye sd Farme and of what Courts hams
been lately kept, and what Quitt Rents are payable to the
Manor of Cottington , and who are the Tenants there of
And also concerning the claime that is made in behalfe of
St. Stephens Hospitall in Canterbury of a Rent to be
issueing out of these Lands and give an Account there of
and of his doeings in the prmisses to this Court. And That
the said Clark doe take one of the Beadles of the
Hospitall of Bridewell along wth him
