Alsoe uppon reading the reporte of in Awbrey and Mr. Dreguee twoe
of the Governors of this hospitall That uppon inquiry the finde That
Henry Bowcher< no role > whoe was brought up and Apprntice in this hospitall
with Benjamin Harrison< no role > silke weaver and since made a Freeman of
this Citty by the approbacon of this Courte and set up for himselfe in-
his said Trade in Spittle streete neere the white horse It is
ordered by this Courte That Mr. Trer Ducane doe give and pay-
unto him Tenne pounds out of the guise of Sr . John Fleete< no role > take
the better to enable him to set up and mange his sd trade to be
allowed Mr. Trer on his next Accompt

Alsoe whereas Mr. John [..] Pelling< no role > late Apothecary to the hospitall
of Bethlem was at thin stance and request of Mr. Thomas Firmin< no role > -
become bound for the paymt. of five shillings a weeke for
keeping William Calverly< no role > in the hospitall of Bethlem for cure
of his Lunacy wch. in the whole did amount to Seaven pounds and
Nyneteene shillings wch. was pd to the Steward of the Sr. hospitall-
by Mr. Pelling the Executriz of the Sr . John Pelling< no role > And whereas the sd
Mr. Firmin refuseth to pay the sd Seaven pounds nineteene
shillings to the sd. Mr. Pelling but is Willing to pay Five pounds
It is ordered by this Courte that if the Sr. Mr. Firmin shall pay-
to the sd. Mrs. Pelling Five pounds That then the Steward of the
sd Hospitall doe repay her Fifty and Nyne Shillings & charge
hilselfe only wth. Five pounds for keeping the sd. Wm. Calverly< no role >
in Bethlem

Mr. Beadles & Porters
mans gratuity


Alsoe uppon the humble peticon of the fower beadles and Porters
man in this hospital for the usuall gratuity given unto them
at Michas Yearely It is ordered by this Courte That Mr. Trer
Ducane doe give and pay unto them [..] Twenty shillings
a peece for their future incouragemt . in the Srvice of this hospitall

Alsoe uppon the humble petition of Phillip Baron< no role > one of the
Artsmasters of this hospitall That hee may be dispenced wth. [..] for
not comeing to the Chappell in this hospitall in regard hee hath an
imploymt. on Sundayes in another place And that his family & Servants-
shall all come to the sd Chappell And that hee is willing to signed the
rest of the ordrs It is ordered that his peticon bee referred to another Co [..]
