THE Information of Joseph Williams< no role > This name instance is in set 1534. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . of Upper Shadwell Street in the
Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell Carman.
Taken this 5th. Day of [..] February 1784 before us Two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that about half past five O Clock on Saturday
Morning last he was called out of Bed by two men now present
who call themselves Patrick Daley< no role > and Nicholas Innes< no role > who
told Informant that they had a Load of Wood for him to
Part. That Informant got up and went with them to Dean
Street Shadwell being the place where his Waggon usually stands
and which waggon was then about half Loaded with Legwood.

That Informant then went to his mothers house at Bell
Wharf Shadwell to call up John Dine a Person who drives for
this Informant, who got up and Assisted the two persons
above named to finish the Loading of the Waggon during
which time Informant fed his horses and got them harnessed
ready to draw the same, That when the Waggon was Leaded
he look his Horsesdownand put them to the Waggon and received
directions from the said Patrick Daley< no role > and Nicholas Innes< no role >
to draw the same to the house of James Portus< no role > of White Lion
Street Norton Falgate , That he accordingly drew the same to
the said James Portus< no role > 's where it was unloaded and Weighed
the said Daley and Innes being present and Assisting during
the time abovementioned And this Informant lastly Saith that
he has been Informed and which Information he verily believes
to be true that the said Logwood was Stolen in the Warehouse
of Mr. John Lowe< no role > at Cole Stairs and that the said Patrick
Daley< no role > and Nicholas Innes< no role > were the persons who feloniously
stole the same.
