County Caulker Taken this 19th Day of February 1784 before Me
one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith That about Nine O Clock in the
Evening of Sunday the 15th. of February Instant she
Went for a pot of Beer to the Ben Johnsons
Head< no role > Near the Worlds End aforesaid That on
her return therewith She was Stopt Within
about Fifty Yards of the Ben Johnsons head
By a Person now present who Calls himself

Stop And at the same time held a Pistol in
his Right hand took the pot of Beer Out
of her hand Set it down by her And then by
force and violence Took from her One Half
Crown piece and One Shilling in Silver Seven
Half pence and One Red Linnen Handkerchief
with White Spots< no role > And after he had Robbed her
he went away towards the Ben Johnsons head
aforesaid And Further Saith Not
