James Horsford< no role > of Saint George Saith That he
was yesterday Called by the Parish Officers to
Examine the ChildThat he Examined it
And Opened it And on Opening at the head there
was found a Quantity of Coagulated Blood
between the Scalp and the Skull which must
have Proceeded from external Violence
That the Skull was fractured on the left side
and a large Potion of the Bone was Seperated
Informant supposes it was done by a flat
Instrument as the Scalp was much bruised
and there was no external Wound upon it
And Informant Saith he hath no doubt
But that the Fracture was the Cause of the
DeathThat the Child Appears about a
Week oldAnd the Navel String was not
Properlyperfectly heal'dAnd Informant hath
not a doubt but that the Child was born
Alive

The above Informations
