< no role > maketh oath that divers years ago her said husband
was bound to & Served the whole of his Apprenticeship with James
Upton
< no role > in the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County
Staymaker & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there and
has not Since to this Deponents knowledge or belief rented a house
of Ten pounds a year or upwards or Served any Parish office or paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain another
Settlement and that She hath three children namely Susannah < no role >
aged about eight years Ann < no role > aged near Seven years & Sarah < no role > aged
about five years & a quarter the lawful Issue of this Deponent
by her said husband to whom she was lawfully married

year one thousand seven hundred & Sixty Seven he took and
rented a house at they early Rent of nine pounds of Mr Minnitt
in Nightingale Lane in the parish of St John wapping in the sd
County & Continued in possion there of for near the space of a year
& during such his renting the same he was Charged to & paid kings
Taxes for the same & by means there of gained a legal Settlement
there That he has not Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year
or upwards or served any parish office or paid any Poors Rates
or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Settlement elsewhere.
