no Account respecting the Settlement of her Parents or either of there
Save that she has been informed by them & which She believes to be
true that her Father was a Chesoture Man & her Mother a Horthamptonshire
Woman but the respective places where they were born they never informed
her That She has been informed by her said Parents & which
she believes to be true That She was born near the Hermitage
Bridge in the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the said
County That she was never an Apprentice nor ever lived as a
hired Servant for the space of a year nor was ever married nor
ever did any act to gain a Settlement in her own right.

Settlement That many years ago & long before her marriage with the sd Richd
Jolly

been informed by him & believes was duly bound to & Served the whole of
his Apprenticeship with Thomas Cartwright< no role > in Kingsland Road in the
Parish of St Leonard Shoreditch in the said county Stocking Frame Knitter
& by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there & that he did not
afterwards to this deponts knowledge or belief rent a house of Ten pounds
a year or upwards or serve any parish office or pay any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes or do any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That She this
Deponent Since there Spewe deaths of her sd late husbands hath not lived
as a hired Servant for a year or rented a house of Ten pounds a year or
paid any poors Rates or kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Settlemt
for herself save what She has acquired by her Second marriage
