Informant seized Clarke by the Collar and
Knock'd up his Steels upon the Stones
And Desired he might be search'd to see if
he had any Knives about him
That another Person took a Class Knife
out of his, Breeches Pocket
And he Clarke said That is not the Knife
Informant Looked at the Knife and there
was no Blood upon it

That Informant Assisted in Taking him
before Justice Green at Shadwell and he
Ordered him to be Put in the Watchouse
And then Informant went back to the
Deceased Lodging and Lent him attend
down Stairs for to go to the Hospital
Put him on a Board

That when Informant came back to the
Deceased Room the Deceased said who could have
Thought itThe Man that I have
been Pawning any Things for and Treating
all the Afternoon
