Oath the Eighth day of December One thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty three before me one of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex

Who on his Oath Saith that yesterday Morning about Eleven
O'Clock he was at Mr. Coxes Lodging house in Kingsland road
in the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoredtich , and that he there
laid himself down on the bed with intent to go to Sleep and
nobody being then in the Room but himself and John Gray< no role >
the Prisoner now under Examination And further Saith
that White he was lying on the bed the said John Gray< no role > Picked
out of his Coal [..] [..] One Half Guinea his Property
