One of the Surgeons of the London Hospital
That the Deceased was Brought there on
Wednesday the fifth of November about half
after Ten oClockThat he had received a
Wound in the Belly a little below the Navel
made by some Cutting Instrument
That a Portion of the Caul was out of the
Wound which was reduced And he was properly
TreatedThat he Died in the Morning
of Friday the Seventh of November
That Informant Opened him on Saturday
the next dayAnd found that hte Instrument
had Passed into the BellyWounded the
Caul in its Passage and also One of the
Great Guts and the Meenbrane which
Supported that Gut in which were Sealed
some Principal VessellsInformnat Saith
That the whole Cavity of the Belly was full
of Blood asand is of Opinion that Loss of
Blood was the imediate Cause of his Death
But That independent of the Loss of Blood he must have Dced from the
Inflammation which had taken Place in the
[..] BowellsBelieves the Depth of
the Wound was three Inches and the Breadth
about an Inch
