bearing date the 22d. day of March last in the words following
Vizt:This Comittee have taken into Consideration the proposal of Mr.
John Leeke< no role >
praying that he may have a Lease of the House in Holborn (No. 3.) for 21 years from
Midsumer next at £24 P Ann Rent clear of Taxes and he to put the house into good repair
and deliver it up so at the end of the Term & Mr. Trear
Tayler Mr. Deputy Vincent Mr. Depty Brewis
and Mr. James Bertles having Crewed the said premisses Reported to this Comittee That it was the Opinion of the
Comittee who veiwed the same That the said House should be let for 21. Years And the
said Mr. Leake having been called in amended his said proposal and offered to give £25
P Ann Rent clear of Taxes and that a Schedule be made of the things which now are or
hereafter shall be fixed on the premisses which are to be left at the End of the Term This
Comittee are of opinion to accept the proposal of the said Mr. Leeke whereupon he gave a Guinea
to the Poors Box All which nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the CourtThis
Court doth confirm the said Report and Order that a Lease be made to the said
Mr. Leake accordingly.
Order'd that notice be incerted in the Ticketts for the next Court That the
Business of the House is to be dispatched before the Prisoners are try do.
