to wit Mary Welsh< no role > aged about 29 years
upon her Oath saith that she never was married
Rented any House Tenement or Lodging of Ten
Pounds a year paid Taxes lived as a hired
yearly servant for Twelve Months or ever
bound an Apprentice That she was born in
Ireland Ad further this Examinant upon
her Oath saith that on the 23d. day of September
1793 she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child
at the house of a Mr. Ryley No. 39 Wych street in
the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex which hath since been Christened
by the Name of Maria< no role > That one Robert Fox< no role >
who is now confined in Newgatethe New Gaol in the Borough is the father
thereof he having had carnal knowledge of
this Examinants and begotten the same
thereon and that he the said Robert Fox< no role > and
no other person did beget the same and that
he is the only real and true father thereof
