to wit Catherine Naish< no role > aged about
21 years upon her Oath saith That she never
was married That she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Miss Pearce in Wych Street in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes for Twelve Months
and upwards at the yearly wages of Five Pounds
that she hath quitted said Service only about One
Month And further this Examinant upon
her Voluntary Oath saith that she is Pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to
be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the said Parish That one John
Macdonald< no role > an Apprentice to one Mr. Pearce a
Taylor in Carey Street is the father thereof he
having had Carnal Knowledge of this Examinants
Body sometime in or about the Month of June
last and at several times since at one of which
times he did beget the said Child or Children of
which she is now pregnant and that the said John
Macdonald< no role > is the only real and true father
thereof
