desertion

(to wit) Charlotte Saunders< no role > aged 27 years or
thereabouts Upon Oath saith that she was Married
to her present Husband John Saunders< no role > at the
parish Church of Saint Giles in the Fields in the
County of Middlesex (by License) on or about the 3d
day of December 1783 that Subsequent thereto her
said Husband Rented and Resided in an House in
Holles Street in the parish of St Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster and County of
Middlesex for about 4 year at the Annual Rent
of Eighteen pounds that he quitted the same
about near three Months ago and hath not since Rented
any House or Apartment of £10 a year or done
any other Act Matter or thing whatsoever whereby
to obtain any subsequent legal settlement to the
best of this Deponents knowledge information or
belief-Saith that [..] she this Examinant
hath three Children by her said Husband now
living with her namely Elizabeth< no role > aged seven years William< no role > born on the seventh
day of January 1787 Margaret< no role > born on the fifteenth

and upwards Caroline aged< no role > about four years
and Joseph< no role > aged about thirteen Months that her
said Husband hath deserted and left her and their said
Children [..] and neglected to provide for them
whereby they are become chargeable to the said
parish of Saint Clement Danes
