(to wit) Ann Southall< no role > aged 36 years &
upwards Wife of Thomas Southall< no role > Upon
Oath saith that she was present to her Married
to her present Husband Thomas Southall< no role > at
the parish Church of Saint Andrew Holborn
on the 5th day of November 1777 (by Banns)
that her said Husband then and several years
before and since rented and resided in an House
in the Strand in the parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the said County of Middlesex at the
Annual Rent of £38 that he quitted the same
about two years ago and hath not since rented
any House or Apartment of £10 a year paid
parish Taxes or otherwise obtained any
subsequent legal settlement to the best of her
knowledge information or belief and this
Deponent upon her Oath further saith that her
said Husband being of Bodily strength and
ability negle to Work for and maintain this Deponent his
said Wife neglects and refuses so to do where [..]
she is become chargeable to the said parish
of St. Clement Danes being unable to provide
for herself
