Tobiathar Cridland< no role > aged 23 years &
upwards singlewoman Upon Oath saith that
she never was Married [..] that she never she never
served as an Apprenticeship nor lived as an hired
yearly Servant for a twelve month together Rented
any House or Apartment of £10 a year paid parish
Taxes or did any other act Mre or thing whatsoever
whereby to obtain any legal Settlement in her own
Right that she has been informed and verily believes
that she is the legitimate Daughter of Samuel and
Elizabeth Cridland both [..] deceased that her said
Father Samuel Cridland< no role > served his Apprenticeship
with in the parish of Saint Mary Magdalen in
Taunton in the County of Somerset and never
after acquired any subsequent Settlement during his
Life and that died about 10 years ago and that
and this Examinant further upon her Oath saith
that on or about the second day of January last at
the House of Mr. Lucas at the Corner of Vere
and Duke Streets in the parish of St Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster and County of
Middlesex she was delivered of a Female Bastard
Child which hath since been named Mary Ann
Wall and is become chargeable to the said parish of St Clement Danes and that Richard Wall< no role > of No 11 friday [..]
