to wit Ann Marshall< no role > aged about
28 years upon her Oath saith That on or about
the 18th. day of January 1792 she this Deponent Intermarried
with one Robert Marshall< no role > (who is now from her) at the
Parish Church of Saint Clement Danes by whom she
hath Two Children living Vizt. James< no role > aged about four
years and Robert< no role > aged about Three years That her
said Husband Rented a first Floor unfurnished of
Mr. Phillips No. 5 Grange Court in the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster
for Three Months and upwards at the yearly
Rent of Ten Pounds and that after he quitted said
Apartments which is upwards of Three years he
never Rented any house Tenement or Lodging of
Ten Pounds a year for Forty days paid Taxes or done any
Act Matter or thing whereby he might have gained
a Subsequent Settlement And further this Deponent
upon her Oath saith that her said Husband is now
at New York in America as she believes she having
left him there on the Sixth day of October 1793 and
hath not ever seen or heard of him since That on
the Sixteenth day of June 1796 She this Deponent
was delivered of a female Child in the Workhouse
belonging to the Parish of Saint Mary le bone in
the County of Middlesex which hath since been
Christened by the Name of Caroline< no role > and that one
George Sampson< no role > who did live Gardener with Sir
John Amos< no role > at Putney in thesaidCounty of Surry
is the father thereof
