to wit Mary Griffiths< no role > Widow aged near 40
years Upon Oath saith that She was Married
to James Griffiths< no role > her per late Husband at the
Parish Church of Portsmouth in or about the year
1779 or 1780 (by Banns) that he died in or Died about October 1792
that he never lived as an hired yearly Servant
with Mr Walker using Sun Drury Lane in the
parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of
Westminster and County of Middlesex for a year
and upwards at the Annual Wages of £9 (as she
is informed and believes) while he was single and no Child that he quitted the same
about two years before their Marriage and never
afterward did any Act Matter or thing whatsoever
whereby to obtain any subsequent legal Settlement
to the best of her knowledge information or belief
that since his Death she this Examinant hath not
been Married or otherwise obtained or become
in Ritted unto any subsequent legal Settlement
