(to wit) Ann Lawton< no role > aged 20 years and upwards
Wife of John Lawton< no role > (who has enlisted in the
Marines and is now from her) Upon Oath saith that
she was Married to the said John Lawton< no role > at the
parish Church of Kensington in the County of
Middlesex (by Banns) on or about the 14th day of
November 1791 that previous thereto her said Husband
wasServedhis Apprenticeshipunder Indenture in
an Apprentice withMr Ginga Carpenter in Cooper's
Street for 5 years and upwards and during that
time lodged with his said Master in Cooper Street
in the parish of St Margaret Westminster during
such his service that hequittleft his said
Master about four Years ago without consentand
And this Examinant saith that her said Husband
hath not Since done any Act Matter or thing
whatsoever whereby to obtain any subsequent
legal Settlement to the best of her this Examinant's
knowledge information orbelfbelief And that She
hath one Child by her said Husband now living named
