(to wit) Elizabeth Forrest< no role > singlewoman aged
twenty three years and upwards Upon Oath
saith that she never was Married that she
never lived as an hired yearly Servant for a
Year together Rented any House or Apartment of
Ten pounds a Year or did any Act Matter or thing
Whatsoever whereby toobobtain any legal
settlement in her own right that she is informed
and believes she is the legitimate Daughter of
Thomas< no role > and Elizabeth Forrest< no role > that her Father
lived on an Estate of his own in the Abbey Church
parish in the Town of St.. Albans in the County
of Herts for several years and quitted that parish
about the year 1778 or 1779andAnd this Examinant that he never after
during his Life obtained any subsequent legal Settlement
to the best of this Deponent's knowledgeor
information or belief that he Died in or about the
Month of February last And that she this Examinant
is distressedand
