(to wit) Elizabeth Cooke< no role > agedaboutThirty
years and upwards Upon Oath saith that
she was Married to John Cooke< no role > ontheor about
the seventeenth day of August 1789 at the parish
Church of St Martin in the Fields (by Banns) that
previous theretoShe is informed and believes that
previous thereto her said Husbandservedwas bound
an Apprentice under Indentures to Mr Thomas Clare< no role >
on or about the first day of October 1776 and
served his said Masterhasas such Apprentice at his
House on Clerkenwell Green in the parish of St
James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex until
in or about the Month of March in the year 1787 [..]
and lodged with his said Master there during such
Service that he was discharged in or about the year
1787 and saith that she hath not done any Act Matter or thing
Whatsoever since whereby to obtain any subsequent
legal Settlement to the best of this Examinant's
knowledge information or belief And this Examinant
further saith that She hath one Child by her said
Husband now with her Namely Hannah< no role > aged three
years two Months and upwards, that her said
Husband hathdeseretdeserted them and [..]
