[..] Widow of William Smith< no role > Deceased
Upon her Oath saith that on or about [..] the twenty
second of February 1781. she was Married to her late
Husband William Smith< no role > at the parish Church
of St Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex that Grevens to their
said Marriage and while her said Husband was
single not having Any Child or Children he lived
as Ostler with Mr. Hapton at the Bell Inn Warwick
Lane [..] in the parish of St. Faith in the City of London
for very near two years that he received as Wages
[..] or a Compensation for such his Service a
certain Allowance or Sum for every Carriage
Waggon Cart & Horse that came into the Inn Yard
and stay'd for one Night or More, that such
Sums were [..] generally Weekly [..] paid or
at least made up & settled that he constantly
boarded & Lodged with his said Master at the Inn
the whole of his Service and was then always at the
Command and Subject to the direction of his said
Master And that since such Service he hath not
gained any Subsequent legal Settlement neither
hath she this Deponent [..] since his Death acquired
any settlement in her own Right that she hath
two Children by her said Husband now living namely Ann< no role > Aged Six
years & upwards and Robert< no role > Aged one year and
Eight Month or thereabouts And this Deponent
